Brotherman Comics Exhibition ~Atlanta

March 6 – June 30 2010
In collaboration with Studio Clout Fine Art Gallery & Big City Entertainment, the Auburn Avenue Research Library will host Drawing From The Soul: The Brotherman Art Experience by Emmy Award Winning artist/illustrator, Dawud Anyabwile. This exhibit will feature illustrations and art from the pioneering comic book Brotherman: Dictator of Discipline, a series that introduced one of the most authentic and enduring Black heroes ever created.

Dawud Anyabwile, Emmy Award Winning Illustrator Creator  of the pioneering comic, Brotherman: Dictator of discipline, will present beginning drawing techniques to encourage inspiring young artists and to express the significance of this cultural art form.    Heritage Education Center Auditorium 4th Floor  1:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m.

Join the Big City Entertainment creative team for a presentation of Brotherman Comics from its conception to distribution. The creative team includes comic book creator Dawud Anyabwile, Art Director Brian McGee  and Creative Director Maurice Novembre.  Heritage Education Center Auditorium 4th floor  4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
